Welcome to the Yoga Nidra Library of the “Lotus Pond Center for Yoga and Health” of Tampa, Florida established in 2026.
The Yoga Nidra Library grew out of a recognized need for a centralized, reliable, ongoing resource for persons who desired to practice Yoga Nidra meditation as led by top tier, certified Yoga Nidra Guides. The Yoga Nidra Library is a free resource for all persons everywhere. From Yoga Nidra Guides, to experienced meditators, to persons who may have engaged in all the behaviors associated with a meditation practice but have never entered into true meditation, to those who have never attempted to experience meditation.
The persons contributing full Yoga Nidra guided meditations to the Lotus Pond Yoga Nidra Library are Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher Roger Mallory, and Yoga Nidra Guides trained and certified by him. Roger provides Yoga Nidra Guide training at Lotus Pond to registered yoga teachers and/or credentialed social and psychological counselors, In a world hemorrhaging an ever-expanding quantity of on-line and yoga classroom experiences of what are amorphously, and often erroneously identified as “guided meditation”, there is an unmistakable need to offer Yoga Nidra guided meditations that are of a nature and quality established by the modern day creator of the process; a process that forms the core of every major “school” of Yoga Nidra. A highly efficient and effective process that has repeatedly demonstrated its efficacy and powerful benefits in scientific research, yoga classrooms, diverse venues and in multiple countries around the world.
Once again, welcome! Please review the content of our “library”, make your selections and experience high quality, traditional Yoga Nidra practice sessions. It is my sincere intention you find our Yoga Nidra guided meditation offerings of unmatched value to professionally guide you into profound mental and physical relaxation, from which you will experience prolonged spaciousness or flow. It is in those experiences of spaciousness and flow that meditation naturally arises, as well as bliss and moments of insight, if not flashes of liberation. Yoga Nidra of this sort offers powerful physical, psychological and spiritual benefits described in detail in the introductions to the process offered by our contributing Yoga Nidra Guides.
Yours in optimal health,
Roger Mallory, E-RYT, YACEP, RYT500, J.D.

Check out Roger Mallory's book "Yoga Nidra: From Bones to Bliss" available here on Amazon. In this, and the next generation of moments in our evolving Information Age there exists a unique, guided form of meditation that is the most efficient, effective and broadly beneficial for the greatest number of persons. Persons of almost every age, from beginners to experienced meditators, around the globe. A systematized, sequenced process that is the “best fit” given the reality of how modern humans are now learning, communicating, and working. This book provides a comprehensive exposition of this form of meditation beginning from its ancient roots co-extensive with Yoga itself, explains all key concepts, and provides a sample, full-length script of a Yoga Nidra guided mediation. In the Roger Mallory's nearly 50 years of relevant study and practice, he has taught various forms of meditation, but for the past 10 years, has chosen to almost exclusively guide Yoga Nidra meditation. The author’s considerable experience in this role has taught him the general population is largely unaware of the guided meditation process of Yoga Nidra and misunderstands the nature, process and intended benefits of those forms of meditation with which they are vaguely familiar. When unrealistic expectations of traditional, un-guided meditation are not met, inflict pain, are inefficient and ineffective in relaxing, let alone achieving a meditative state, the would-be meditator almost invariably concludes they have failed, are unable to “stop their busy mind”, are a loser, and miles away from their expected state of prolonged bliss. Yet what persists is a strong desire for relief from the ravages of chronic stress. Many return to, or grasp at even superficial tastes of momentary contentment while continuing to deeply yearn for relief of a deeper, more prolonged and sustainable nature. Millions of people crave an inexpensive, efficient, effective, no-experience-required, no-side effect, non-stigmatizing, accessible method to de-stress, a method for re-taking the direction of one’s life, the experience of restoration, prolonged bliss and psycho-spiritual enlightenment. Yoga Nidra guided meditation, well-crafted and performed consistent with this book, provides all of this. |
